Pret A Manger arrives in Luxembourg

London-based Pret A Manger will open its first shop in Luxembourg on 16 May, in the central district of Ville-Haute.

The new shop will offer local customers a range of sandwiches and salads, all prepared in its onsite kitchen, along with its 100 per cent organic coffee, served by trained baristas. Customers can order an organic coffee served with milk or an organic plant-based alternative at no extra cost.

“Opening our first Pret A Manger in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is a fantastic moment for Pret. We are all very optimistic, and I hope that we will have the pleasure of welcoming many customers in this first shop to build together the success of Pret in Luxembourg,” says Stéphane Klein, Managing Director of Pret A Manger Europe.

Set within the heart of Luxembourg in the Royal-Hamilius shopping centre, Pret A Manger’s first shop is an ideal location for those who want to grab fresh breakfast, lunch or snack options on the go. It will be ideally located nearby a pedestrian square in front of Hôtel des Postes, and easily accessible by public transport and with a large underground car park.

This opening marks another step in Pret A Manger’s ambitious growth plans, including opening shops across Europe to bring freshly made food and drink to more people. This opening will bring 12 to 15 jobs to the local community. The new location will have 25 seats inside, alongside 20 seats on the outdoor terrace.
