For everyone involved, our goal is to make Direct Trade:
A little more approachable
A lot more accessible
We've been spending time, making friends and working in communities throughout Africa, Central America and the Caribbean since 2007. In the summer of 2017, we began investing in small-holder farmers in Honduras to elevate quality and facilitate access to the international market for many whom selling domestic was the only option. The goal was and is to increase direct trade access and improve producer quality, opportunity, and economic viability.
Stewardship is one of our greatest values here at Bridging Tables and we are true believers in the impact Direct Trade can produce not only for Coffee Consumers, Coffee Roasters, Coffee Producers, Coffee Pickers, Coffee Communities... but also for the ecosystems where coffee is grown and for the sustainability of the coffee industry as a whole.
Whether you're a small shop interested in exploring your first ever Farm-direct relationship, or a stable brand dedicated to direct trade and looking to expand your Family of producing partners - we'd love to play a small role in assisting you to turn your sourcing transactions into teammates.
